Generous Donations Make Christmas Day A Celebration!
The best Christmas present for Green Pastures Derby Residents!
Christmas is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year, and for many it is, yet there are people who can find this time of year lonely and a struggle to get through. This Christmas, our Green Pastures Derby residents were given such a treat and were blessed by some kind and generous people, which made the whole day an uplifting celebration.
Mark and Tracey Lewis-Harvey from News Team Group Ltd, Stoke-On-Trent collect donations each year and then nominate a charity to support. This is the third Christmas they have nominated Green Pastures Derby. They purchased a load of goodies with help from Denstone Farm Shop, for the residents; meat and all the trimmings for Christmas Day, mince pies, chocolates, eggs, cheese, milk, coffee, tea, sugar, and more!
"We just don't know where to start with our thanks to you for your generosity and kindness towards us. Thank you for raising donations through your friends, family and work colleagues. We can't believe you decided to choose us as the recipients for all the goodies purchased for the residents here at Green Pastures. Please can you convey our "huge thank you" to everyone who supported you in providing the food items, enabling the men to have a wonderful Christmas dinner, Christmas tea and treats." Sonia, the manager of Green Pastures wrote in a thank you letter.
Thank you so much for coming together to show the true spirit of Christmas and make this a Christmas to remember.
