Copy and paste the text below into an email to your Partnership Manager, completing any items that appear in square brackets. Send the email to your Partnership Manager so that they can sign it off before you send it onto potential Referral Agencies.

I am writing to let you know that we will soon be starting a new Supported Housing project.

We are actively looking for referral partners and would like to have a conversation about receiving potential residents from yourselves.

[Insert Partner Name], a [Insert type of entity (e.g., CIC, Charity) & Charity Number] seeks to support [insert types of residents, e.g., homeless and at risk individuals] through the provision of Supported Housing.

You will be very welcome to refer any of your service recipients, provided they have support needs and are a good fit with our eligibility criteria.

Bearing in mind our eligibility criteria (please see the summary attached), do you think you would be interested in making referrals to us?

If so, please could you answer these three questions: 

1. How many referrals would you expect to make to use per month?
2. Where do you currently refer your service recipients for their housing needs?
3. How successful do you think these move-on referrals have been? What would make them even better?
